Rumors have been speculating since a long time that Apple has been working to enhance its Macbook pro lineup of devices. Now, the bigger news is that the company will probably replace the QWERTY keyboard with an e-ink equipped Macbook keyboard. Apple has promised that the upcoming Macbook Pro will have some new exciting features like OLED touch bar, Touch ID and less ports. But now Apple has progressed forward and is setting its first step in substituting the conventional QWERTY keyboard with dynamic e-ink keyboard.
In order to accomplish this replacement for all its Macbook pro series devices, the company has teamed up with Australian company Sonder Design Pty Ltd. Sonder Design Pty Ltd. is a startup company and it is financially supported by Foxconn Technology Group. The most interesting aspect of the e-ink enabled dynamic Macbook keyboard is that the keyboard keys can be changed according to the users’ requirement. Not much details could be fetched regarding the new keyboard.
Apart from this, other new features that might be arriving to the Macbook Pro devices are assignment of the keyboard to a specific language or complex functionalities like assigning hot keys when launching productivity applications. Since the news is still in rumor stage, it’s better to wait for the actual news to be released by Apple itself.
