You have used the swipe gesture that is often used to skip or change images and videos in the gallery. The same feature will be introduced in YouTube very soon. Google engineers are presently testing the swipe gesture feature for the Android app of YouTube. With this feature, you can play a video and right swipe to change the video and skip to the next video.
The new feature was first spotted by a Google Plus user Joe Kelly. The swipe feature helps YouTube to play the Up next video. According to Kelly, the swipe feature is currently only working when videos from the “Home” tab in the YouTube Android app are played. But it is sufficient to explain that the feature will expand soon, or once the testing yields positive results.
We have used a similar feature in Facebook images and for videos, we have to swipe from top to bottom or reverse. In case of YouTube, the swiping will work from left to right. Not every device has received the feature. Only a handful of devices has got it. None of our devices have received the update yet.
