How to Set Up a Business Account on Instagram?
Download the Instagram app from the App Store and launch Instagram.
Create an account, and there are two ways to do it. First, sign up using your email address or phone number. Second, in case you have a Facebook account, you can simply log in using the same account and just link both accounts.
Initially you begin with a personal account and you need not require linking your Facebook account.
Now your profile is ready.
But for a business profile, you will need to have a Facebook page. On your Instagram feed, select your profile and got a menu (appears as a three-horizontal line on the top right corner). Select the Settings (appears with a gear logo) and select “Account“.
You will find a list of options, from where you have to choose “Switch to Professional account”
Next, choose Business. It will show you a promo slideshow, ask you to select a category, add business information (which is optional) and at the end ask you to connect to Facebook.
You must choose a page and make it public for a business account. Connecting to Facebook is optional these days, so you can skip it.
A complete profile setup is necessary. Hence, add the requested information like name, location, and contact information.
While linking your Facebook Page, it is easy if you already have a Facebook business page. On the contrary, you get an option to create a new page and set up your page as per your profile.
