The Paranoid Android team in its beta release has introduced a unique feature called the Dynamic System Bars. This is an addition to the beta release along with the introduction to the swipe-up gesture to dismiss Hover and other bug fixes to overcome performance related issues.
The Dynamic System Bars or the DBS is the much anticipated introduction of the Paranoid team in its PA 4.6 beta 1 release. This concept came into picture when the designers thought of reducing striking contrast between the currently running app and the navigation and status bars. Both the navigation and status bar are black in all the stock Android devices most of the time and to clearly differentiate between them the concept of DBS came into picture. With this, both the bars will be seen adopting the color of the current application running on screen. Not only this, the status icons, notifications and also the navigation buttons will be seen blending with the colour of the background.
In addition, it is not only the application’s action bar whose color will be matched with that of the status and navigation bars; anywhere in the app there is a color change the same will reflect in both.
Since it is just a beta release, some issues are expected while using this feature such as reduction in battery life of the device which is likely to be fixed in its next release.
