Google has started rolling out Android 9, i.e. Android Pie for another new handset, the Nokia 8. Lest week, Chief Product Officer at HMD Global, Juho Sarvikas made an announcement that Android 9 had been made available in beta versions to several handsets and Nokia 8 is one of them. Now, after rigorous testing with public, the company has rolled out the Android Pie update for general public.
The update has started rolling out to allNokia 8 devices. However, different users on different zones may receive in different times. So, if the update doesn’t show up on your update option, don’t be disappointed. You will get your update soon.

Previously, the company said that they are planning for sending the update to both Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco. However, certain changes in strategy has compelled Google to roll out the update only to Nokia 8. Users are obviously disappointed because they are not getting the update as promised. Now, we are waiting to see if HMD can deliver the update within the current year.
Nokia 7 Plus, 6.1, 6.1 Plus and 7.2 have received the Android Pie update.
