Gone are the days when Kansas city would boast about its gigabit speed facility from Google fiber. Now a local ISP of Minnesota has outdone this speed with its ultra fast 10 Gigabit internet speed. The service will be made available to as many as 30000 households of Mineapolis. And cost? Definitely the more the sugar the sweeter it is. The cost of this 10 Gbps speed is $400 per month. Hence, the percentage of people who would be able to avail this amount is typically less.
Google fiber set a different benchmark when it came ti internet speed. But basically what it turns out to be, the speed is 10 times that of Google fiber. Joe Caldwell, co-CEO of US internet said, “The fastest Internet in the world is going to be here in Minneapolis starting this afternoon”. He also added,”We’re talking about a game-changing speed.” “This coming summer, if you’re east of 35W, you will be able to get fiber from us,” Caldwell said. “Not everybody, but big parts of the city.”
I am very glad that a city such Minessota have gained such great speeds of Internet. In my country Bulgaria we also have one of the fastest internet speeds in the whole of Europe.
