Instagram is the biggest photo sharing social platform where billions of users share their photographs and selfies with each other. Instagram is such a big platform where celebrities, sport persons, politicians and even big companies and business hubs take part and share posts. Sometimes, we come across certain beautiful posts that we want to share. But unfortunately, there is no such straightforward way of sharing an Instagram post on your profile like you can do in Facebook. In that case, you have to render help from a third party app. There are several Repost apps.
The Repost app copies the caption along with the hashtags of the original post as well as the hashtag #repost, so that the copyright of the original post is preserved. Now, if you do not want that to happen to your profile, then Instagram has this option to refrain users from reporting your Instagram posts. The option has been recently included in the Instagram app. The following tutorial will show you how to prevent an Instagram user from repeating your posts.
1. Open Instagram. Go to your home tab. Click on the three dots located at the top right corner of the screen.
2. Scroll down and find the option “Allow Others To Reshare”. This option is by default enabled so that any user can add your posts to their Instagram Stories. If your profile is Private, then this option is turned off by default and does not show up. So, if you want to turn off the Respost permission option, then tap on the slider to turn it to grey.
That’s all!
