This game has been recently acquired by The New York Times for a few millions. What is Wordle?
What is Wordle?
Wordle is a daily word game by the New Work Times, This game can be played once in 24 hours. The purpose of the game is to guess and find out a 5 letter word. That particular 5 letter word is the answer and it is preset in every game. The players have 6 chances to guess the correct word. If you type a word from your mind and hit the submit button, then the boxes will be colored either grey, or green or yellow. Green means the letter is present in exactly the same position in the original word. Yellow means, the letter is there in the original word, but not in that position. Grey means the letter is not position at all.
The guess must be a valid word, Any random set of letters will not work. After you enter a word, the colors of the letters or tiles will change into the three colors. From the colors of the tiles, you can understand how closer you have reached to the solution word. Check out the screenshot below
